XPS Cornices used in new builds and renovations
Polystyrene cornices are gaining popularity due to the enhanced appearance and wide range of profiles. Add to that the fact that it is quicker and easier to install, even by one person. It furthermore comes in at a lower price point than the profiled traditional products made from gib or plaster.
Benefits
- Installation can be done by one person - due to its lightweight and 2m lengths our cornicing is easy to install by one person.
- Reduced installation cost - A single plasterer can typically install our products in very similar time that two plasterers will install the more traditional products in.
- Cutting is very easy and not messy - when using the recommended insulation saw, specifically designed to cut polystyrene, there is very little waste.
- Reduced fatigue - the low weight of our product (on average <100g for a 2m length) reduces fatigue.
- Reduced cost - enough said.
- Packaging - our product comes packaged in the blanks left by our manufacturing process, limiting potential damage to the product while shipping and handling on site.
- Recycling waste - return the polystyrene packaging to us and we will recycle it free of charge
